This past collection draws inspiration from the birds of India – a concept that came into focus with a visit to the Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary in India.

At close quarters, it is impossible to avoid noticing the amazing diversity, and the richness of plumage on display. The first element that strikes you is one of vibrant colours, in an amazing hue of blends that both shimmer and change with the movement of the bird. Next the patterns of the plumage have been worked into the fabric, and finally the bird’s feathers were responsible for the textural richness of the wool/silk blends.
